If something feels off — an oracle won't answer, history disappeared, the stars went quiet — we're here. Most questions are covered below. If yours isn't, write to us.
Common questions
Stellara just shows a loading state and never returns an answer.
Try the following, in order:
- Check that you have an internet connection — Stellara needs it to reach the oracle.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular and try once more.
- Force-quit the app and reopen it.
- If it still hangs, you may have hit your daily question limit. We rate-limit each device to keep the service running for everyone. Try again tomorrow.
If none of that helps, please email us with the time it happened and the oracle you used — we'll take a look.
An oracle gave a strange or off-topic answer. Why?
Stellara's oracles are AI characters, not all-knowing fortune tellers. Sometimes the answer will be poetic but vague, sometimes a little weird. That's part of the experience. If you ever get an answer that feels harmful, offensive, or inappropriate, please email us so we can improve our prompts.
I asked about my health / money / a legal issue and the oracle didn't really help.
That's by design. Our oracles are explicitly instructed not to give medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. If your question touches one of those areas, the oracle will gently deflect and (if appropriate) suggest you talk to a real professional. Stellara is for fun, reflection, and conversation starters — not a replacement for an expert.
My history disappeared.
Stellara's history is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. Possible causes:
- You deleted and reinstalled the app — local data is removed when you uninstall.
- You restored your iPhone from a backup that didn't include app data.
- You use Stellara on a different device — history doesn't sync across devices in this version.
We don't keep server-side copies of your history, so we can't restore it. If syncing matters to you, let us know — it's on the roadmap.
How do I clear my history or delete my data?
Two ways:
- Inside the app: open the History tab and use the "Clear history" action.
- Fully: uninstall Stellara from your iPhone. Because all data is local, uninstalling removes everything. We don't keep a copy on our servers.
Do you collect any personal information?
No. No accounts, no email, no Apple ID linkage, no analytics. Each install gets a random anonymous device ID that we use only to count requests for rate limiting. It's not tied to who you are. The full privacy policy has the details.
Is Stellara free? Are you going to add a subscription?
Today, Stellara is free with no ads and no in-app purchases. If we ever change that, we'll be transparent about it inside the app and on this page.
Why is the answer length always so short?
Each oracle has a tight style guide — Zephyra speaks in 2–3 poetic lines, Madame Lou in 1–2 blunt ones, Cosmo in 2–3 modern ones. The brevity is intentional. Long-form readings would dilute the character.
The app is in English, but my system language is something else. Can I switch?
The interface follows your iPhone's system language where possible. The oracles themselves answer in the language you wrote your question in. If you ask in English, you'll get English; if you ask in Russian, you'll get Russian. We're adding more interface localizations over time.

Re-launch the app
Force-quit and reopen — fixes most "stuck loading" cases.
Check the network
Stellara needs internet to reach the oracle. Toggle airplane mode off, or switch from Wi-Fi to cellular.
Update iOS
Stellara requires iOS 17 or newer. Older versions won't load all visual effects.
Try a different oracle
If a question feels stuck, switching personas often gives the answer a fresh angle.
